PromptEdge is a product operated by Data One Technologies Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia (“Data One Technologies”, “we”, “our”, “us”). All services are provided by, and all agreements relating to PromptEdge are entered into with, Data One Technologies Pty Ltd. PromptEdge provides a tool and browser extension for saving, organising, and reusing AI prompts. This policy explains what data we handle and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.
We collect only what’s needed to run the service:
If you submit feedback, we receive the message you write and the email address associated with your account so we can respond.
The PromptEdge browser extension stores your prompts locally in your browser and, when you are signed in, syncs them with your account so they are available across devices. When you insert a prompt, the extension places the prompt text into the input field of the AI site you are using (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini). The extension does not read, collect, or transmit your conversations or any other content from those sites.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party providers that help us operate the service (for example, hosting, database, and email delivery), and only to the extent needed for them to perform those functions. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Prompts you explicitly choose to share to the public community library are visible to others. Everything else in your library remains private to your account.
Community prompts and model training (free tier). If you use PromptEdge on the free tier and choose to share a prompt to the public community library, you grant Data One Technologies Pty Ltd the right to use those shared prompts — including to develop, improve, evaluate, or train models and features. This applies only to prompts you have deliberately shared to the community library on the free tier. It does not apply to prompts you keep private, and it does not apply to paid plans. You can remove a prompt you have shared at any time, which stops its further use for these purposes going forward.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your prompts at any time, and you can delete your account from the settings page, which removes your associated data.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data using industry-standard practices.
PromptEdge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
PromptEdge is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Data One Technologies Pty Ltd does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content, prompt, or output obtained through the service will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data One Technologies Pty Ltd and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You are responsible for the prompts and content you create, save, and share, and for ensuring your use of any third-party AI service complies with that service’s own terms.
